Decks

Multiple decks are located throughout the estate, each offering unique architectural character and views. A smaller front deck off the library is designed to resemble a drawbridge, featuring a removable front rail and decorative chains extending into the eaves for an authentic visual effect.

A large rear deck extends from the sunroom and primary bedroom suite providing convenient access from both areas.

A future covered deck is planned along the back side of the library, measuring approximately 8' x 32'. While not yet constructed, the roof structure is already in place. Once completed, this space will offer a comfortable, sheltered area to relax, take in the views, and watch passing storms while remaining dry and protected. The future roof top deck is elevated approximately 32 feet above ground level, and it offers expansive views of roughly three-quarters of the estate, including the trails, driveway, back field, and fire pit area. From this vantage point, the mountain on the property located beyond the back lawn and gardens can also be seen, showcasing remarkable rock formations and natural beauty.
